Welcome once again to our ongoing Guilty Pleasure’s bonus series! A series we begun as part of our friends Bloodhound Pix #HorrorNotFear campaign and was supposed to end last summer. It extended far beyond that but now is coming to an end with this our final edition! That said, keep an eye out on the Morbidly Beautiful network as the show will be re-launching with all new hosts (though keeping the same format) in 2023.

For this final edition we ran a poll on social media platforms to see which film we would look at in our latest Xmas horror edition. Would it be 2010s “Sint” or 2018’s “Slay Belles”. Well, in something of a surprise “Spooky” Dan Walker’s feature debut “Slay Belles” emerged victorious in a close vote.

Alongside NHE host Scott Murphy to dive into this one we have a very regular special guest in the form of writer/director/slasher movie encyclopedia MJ Dixon.

Over the course of the episode the pair talk about the films wild tonal inconsistencies, how Krampus looks like a werewolf in this film (not necessarily a bad thing) and how Barry Bostwick steals the film. Plus, a whole lot more!

Lastly, we just want to thank everyone who has tuned into any of 30 editions of this side-series or joined in on any of the episode votes. It is greatly appreciated!
