Welcome once again to our ongoing Guilty Pleasure’s bonus series! A series we begun as part of our friends Bloodhound Pix #HorrorNotFear campaign and was supposed to end last summer. But the show rolls on now that we have become a firm fixture at the Morbidly Beautiful network and we just have so much damn fun doing it.

We ran a poll on social media platforms to see which film we would look at in our Action horror edition. Would it be 2004’s Resident Evil: Apocalypse or 2006’s Underworld: Evolution? Well by a surprisingly large margin you voted for the Milla Jovovich vehicle “Resident Evil: Apocalypse.”

Alongside NHE host Scott Murphy to dive into this one we have a regular guest in horror author Robert Ottone.

Over the course of the episode the pair talk about how wild and nonstop the film is, try (and fail) to decipher the baffling plot logic and how this movie above all else follows the rule of cool.

Plus, we get into just how much research Sienna Guillroy did for her role, how cool it was to see Nemesis on the big screen and debate whether for all its flaws (and despite having even worse reviews) this is actually more fun than the original.
