Welcome back to our ongoing Guilty Pleasure’s bonus series! A series we begun as part of our friends Bloodhound Pix #HorrorNotFear campaign, which will see New Horror Express along with several other outlets offering bonus content up until June 2021.
We ran a poll on social media platforms to see which film we would look at in our “Redneck Edition” of the series between “Wrong Turn 2: Dead End” and “Trailer Park of Terror.” And in an absolute landslide you voted for 2007’s “Wrong Turn 2: Dead End.”
On the show to talk (very, very enthusiastically!) about the movie, alongside our host Scott Murphy, we have former guest (and the biggest Wrong Turn 2 fan you are likely to meet) “The Perished” director Paddy Murphy. Returning to the series for the second time after previously appearing in our “Dreamcatcher” episode here.
In the episode you will hear Scott admit that he may of misremember the film as a guilty pleasure as it is part of a guilty pleasure franchise and that it might actually just an okay movie! (What a mistake!). Also Paddy explains why he loves the movie. Plus Scott and Paddy talk extensively why Henry Rollins is the best in this movie and how the dudebro character of Jonsey is the worst (we can not highlight this enough he is so, so bad!).
